Dear Friend, Seasons Greetings!

I would like to personally thank you for all your support over the years. As 2012 comes to an end, we look back gratefully for the support from all of you.We received 295 votes to compete for a $250,000 small business grant. As a Recording, Performance and Education center, we continue to be dedicated to promoting JAZZ with an emphasis on VOCALISTS.

Looking forward to 2013

Grace Notes Music Is excited to announce the Re-Launch of the Singers Center. singers center logoJazz Times magazine featured The Singers Center in an article:“Best Jazz Music Schools in the country

Sheila Jordan is an inspiration to Jazz vocalists and instrumentalists everywhere as a performer, educator, & mentor.
Still traveling the globe performing and passing on the tradition of Jazz and her mentor, Charlie Parker; she is loved and appreciated by audiences worldwide.

And beginning Jan 5,2013 a Vocal jazz Performance Prep Intensive Course

The course teaches skills that singers will be able to use at any jam session and rehearsal in addition to this Master class.

More info at the Singers Center's home page

We are also excited to present our
1st Vocal Jazz Festival

In October 2013 we will present in Endicott,NY an All-Star group of Jazz Vocalist (including Sheila Jordan, Grammy winners & nominees, Grace Testani, and more.
Grace Notes Music is working with the local government, the State University and their Jazz program students, local businesses and local arts organizations. We already have committed radio station airplay, Endicott is located in the Triple Cities of Upstate NY. Broome County has been financially devastated by three concurrent events: IBM moving out (it started in Endicott), the worldwide economic downturn, and the vast destruction of hurricane Irene. This area is culturally undeserved and economically struggling. We expect to bring over 3,000 former residents back for this festival. Plus, since this is peak season for autumn colors, we anticipate music & fall foliage lovers from other areas will attend to help boost local businesses and the economy while invigorating a cultural revival.

Additionally,Grace Notes Music is in the process of securing the technology to interactively webcast our events, Master Classes and courses globally.

Music and artists have always had patrons who recognize the importance of art in our lives. They understand that the arts need support beyond sales.
